THE GIFT BARRE is organized by members of the Guild Merchandise Committee. The Guild committee exists to plan for a season, to select merchandise and to perform all tasks associated with presenting it at the show’s venue. Merchandise is selected for the theme of each production and to promote the Ballet Austin brand.

THE NUTCRACKER SEASON is a peak period for the Gift Barre. Hundreds of Nutcrackers festoon the performance hall with colorful decoration. Each of them provides an opportunity for someone to take home a fond recollection of a wonderful performance.

GIFT BARRE VOLUNTEERS also work with Ballet Austin to design and produce seasonal tee shirts every year. Tee shirts are available outside of scheduled performances by
e-mailing VP-Merchandising Norma Juneau.
